We spend all of our lives goin’ out of our mind.. Lookin’ back to our birth, forward to our demise

I find way too many random pictures on the Internet that fit my mood. The problem that comes up every Friday… well every work day but specifically every Friday is that I get bored while at work. What can I say I just run out of anything to do while at work. The Internet is too easy to beat and while I have soooo much that I want to do I’m limited by laziness (that and as I’ve complained of before.. my work’s proxy doesn’t let me transfer files by FTP …which slows ANYTHING done online down to a standstill.) When I’m home there isn’t enough time in the day to get through my movies, books, games, working out, stuff to do online, going out with friends, chores, etc etc… Work as you know is a completely different story. If anyone out there has fun pages or suggestions of things to do while online.. by all means suggest away. Please.

So my new 3x a week watching a movie while running is still going strong (Wonder how long this’ll last for!) ;) However I didn’t realize that the first movie I watched was short as this time was a 5mile and a quarter run… hrm..
Jeepers Creepers 2. A sequal to a horror movie that while cheap at parts I actually enjoyed.. so how did it stack up to the original? Well for starters it had a horrible transition from the first with SUPER minor cameo from the kid who died in the original. I have to say I was a bit annoyed by that but I suppose it works when you decide to add in an actual plot since the first didn’t have much of one ;) I will admit though on the one hand it was a good way to setup a series off it.. on the other there needs to be a 23 year gap between movies in a ‘real’ timeline if you follow what someone says in the movie. Great way to bring in the future and ancient history but hard to have repeated characters if that’s the case. Also it makes the whole ‘house’ he lived in hard to be as ‘realistic’ as it was. It was good.. worth watching for horror buffs.. just expect a ‘few’ “What the hell are you doing?” to be thought while watching it. A lot of people who have clearly never seen horror movies…

Thinking about it. They really need the kid from the Scream series, Randy from the video store, take his basic character, copy him, and stick him in a few horror movies. Take it a few ways.. comedy horror like Scream and a ‘serious’ horror. Oh well.. one of these days.
