TASCK – Helps Keep Tasks Organized With A Simple Online To Do List

by Stuart Conover on February 28, 2009

Tasck is an AJAX based online to do list that is easy to use and doesn’t add the clutter of unnecessary features. I love the basic interface and quickness to load however I will have to admit that it’s missing a few features I would like to see. It’s ease of use and straight forward interface is exactly what you need from a To-Do List. These kind of websites are by no means new, however many become unorganized, cluttered, slow, or are not nearly as straight forward as Tasck.

Positives:
- AJAX based means it’s extremely quick to add items and load.
- Keeps track of finished tasks.
- Easy interface to interact with.

Negatives:
- Can’t edit the items on your list after they have been added.
- Can’t move an items order in your list.
- Currently no way to edit items in your list.
- Currently no way to export your list to external applications.

If your in need of a quick and simple To-Do list generator Tasck is a great option for you. I would like to see at least the first 3 of what I feel are negatives from the list addressed before I start actively using it. I do feel this is a resource that will be great to use though in the future once it is expanded upon a little more and look forward to seeing what additional features pop up over time.

███ TASCK.com Thanks You ███

Hello, I’m Kristian, the owner of TASCK.com

Thanks for mentioning the site. You probably didn’t know, but it was made on a shoe-string budget and there is a LOT of work to be done to optimize the site, make it better, faster, and add more features (drag and drop reordering, double click to edit tasks, adding categories).

Currently, I’m saving up for this myself so it might take a while (as food comes first). But it’s good to see others recognizing TASCK for what it’s meant to be. Simple, user friendly, and sminimal.

Kristian,

I’m glad to help give you some recognition! Once I tried it out I instantly could see that this would be one of the better To-Do list applications with it’s quick load times and easy interface. I can’t wait to see what you do next with it!

Trust me I know how things can move along with a shoe string budget. I have a few things in the works as well currently that are having to work around being able to eat dinner
