I’m not usually one for posting actual commercials on the site. This though. This is quite possibly one of the greatest commercials have ever seen. I don’t know if it’s from my love of Star Wars, my love of dogs, or just because this is an absolute riot but holy shit you need to watch this 5 minutes ago!

First off this is not real. However it’s a damn funny 16bit version of what Battlestar Galatica would have looked like as a Role Playing Game. They do poke a little fun at the plot holes in the series (almost to the point of annoyance, I did love the show) but it’s done so hilariously (for the most part.)

If you loved BSG as much as I did you should check this out for a laugh. If you were frustrated with the series you should check this out for a laugh. If you hated where they went at any point you’ll relate to the video. It’s all 4 seasons, each one minute long, poking at the fun of all of the problems with the show.

I love how they did the soundtrack.

If this would only be made it would be the ultimate parody. The Muppets in Saw. I’m kind of curious who made this and why because it’s clear that a LOT of time and talent were put into getting this together and it’s pretty damn awesome! I’d absolutely watch a full length version of this film.

Jigsaw is dead but someone is putting Muppets into traps. This is not for children.

Happy Lab Day

Since I’m at work I don’t feel that I should be celebrating Labor Day. Don’t get me wrong. I’d like to be out and about celebrating Labor Day but I’m in the wrong profession, or at least position for that. One of those things I need to figure out how to change after the wedding comes and goes.

Useless chatter for now, Instead I’d like to celebrate my dog! (Because.. ya know.. it’s a happy lab day.) I mean, just look how happy our Lab is. Clearly it’s happy lab day!

The Truth About Captain America

Leah and I finally were able to see Captain America: The First Avenger last night and it was pretty great. Very enjoyable flick and great introduction to the character that embodies the American spirit in so many ways. However what happens when our athletes are constantly being accused of other substances to enhance their performance? Maybe the same eye will get pointed at our heroes as well. Super-Soldier Serum my ass ladies and gentlemen… Damn steroid junkies.

A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas Trailer

I was going to post a video today. This wasn’t going to be it. But I just couldn’t resist posting this when I saw this. Now stoner movies for a long time were a dime a dozen and the vast majority of them are just terrible movies. I in fact did not see the first Harold & Kumar (even with rave reviews) until the second film was out in theaters.

This was a mistake on my part. Both of the current films are an absolute blast and have only gotten better with the inclusion of Neil Patrick Harris. Now the third film is coming out and even with NPH’s “death” in the last one he’s found a way to make a come back and oh does it look good!

I mean really just think about all of the people who went to YOUR high school. The thought that some of them will have grown up into any kind of position of power? Frightening to say the least. Now just remember the fact that a position of power can range from anything in business to military to politics? Even more frightening!
