My Twitter Weighs a Ton is a side project of The Barbarian Group. It was mainly designed as a toy that will analyze your tweets and show you how many times you use each word on Twitter. It’s a great way to narrow down what you tweet about the most and find out if you use anything too often.
Keep track of what your tweeting about
As much as it is a toy it actually is pretty useful as well. Relying too much on your auto-updating Tweets from new blog posts and not actually talking to people enough? I found out that on 2 of my 3 Twitter accounts for various projects that I was! It’s an easy way to monitor all of your outgoing tweets to see if your holding actual conversations or just looking like a spammer.
Watching what other people tweet about
Also if you want to keep track of what other people are talking about you can put in any screen name of a Twitter user and see what words they bring up the most. Want to follow the latest trends or see what the more popular posts are from a specific user and this is the way to go.
It’s not a deal breaking application however it IS useful, specially for those of you with multiple Twitter accounts being run for a variety of websites/projects online.
