So. What I take away from this video is that because I use Google I’m potentially a member of Al-Qaeda. That’s what happens when you use the Internet. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot people. I mean I know some actors and actresses live in a little fantasy world of their own but this is just insane. The worst part? She actually seems to be 110% serious on her views of the Internet.

I Am Again Throwing Myself To The Wolves

Ok, so I am about half way done with a ‘life update’ post with all of the movies I’ve watched lately / etc. To be completely honest I don’t have enough time in the next 10 minutes to finish it and when I go home I will likely not do a single thing aside from play Modern Warfare 2.

Knowing I will not finish my post and that I missed one yesterday I am choosing the cheap cop out post. A video. Not just any video but a sexist video in the style of classic sexist public service announcements. This will provide humor to most of my friends and annoyance from some of my female friends. I am ok with this. I’m willing to take the heat!

(Maybe tomorrow I can fit in both a Friday 5 which has had 0 research done for it so far AND my life update post. Only time will tell.)

How Do You Sit In This?

So this gets my personal favorite for a non-female costume so far. I mean Star Wars has been kind of done to death before but how often have you seen someone dress up as an AT-ST for Halloween? This is just a stroke of genius and there isn’t going to be much better out there (Unless of course the pilot was a sexy little woman wearing a whole lot of not too much underneath. Clearly that would be better, but what doesn’t that make better?.)

What to take away from this? First off.. stilts – making giant robot costumes that much better. Secondly.. women wearing next to nothing or skin tight clothing are always better. At least that was the case until I saw this one:

I’ll be honest. That one does nothing for me. That AT-ST costume though? Awesome.

Mini Battlestar Galactica Characters Coming Soon!

I know if you follow my life at all you know I’m an addict when it comes to Battlestar Galactica. Even the ending that so many complained about I felt did the series proper justice. These 2 toys coming out are just absolutely amazing. These 2 6-inch tall characters are absolutely amazing and aside from the price tag a must buy! Who knows, I might end up caving and order them when they are actually for sale.

So while browsing the Internet as of late I found 2 good time killers for you to play with (one of which I’m posting just because it was entertaining, the other because it’s something I plan on watching in the very near future.)

I love how King always tortures the hell out of his main characters and I’m not quite sure why.

The second of the two entertaining things is bringing out more of my geek side. There is currently a hugely popular title out there you may have heard of for the PC called Spore. Spore is a game where you actually start with a ‘spore’ of life and have to shape and grow it into a species of your creation that can eventually travel to the stars. On top of that you do get to play through the entire evolution of the creature from fish food to ‘human’ (or whatever you end up making.. giant insects, minotaurs, Fruit Fuckers, or anything else you can dream up.)

With a fully customizable character creation system given to nerds on the Internet the first thing to be created was of course porn. Spore Porn.. Sporn as it were. (Lots of NSFW information on Sporn is available right here. This of course was not the end-all of the subject. For with porn comes anti-porn. Sporn comes anti-Sporn. Spore comes Antispore. Yes Antispore.com

Antispore is one of the best pranks I’ve seen on the ‘net in awhile. Basically the entire concept was to play off the writer as a religious fanatic who believed that the game in it’s entirety was an affront to God. People didn’t get it. They thought he was serious. There are quite a few articles written on it with posts that will do nothing but make you laugh. My favorite is his most recent post where he, in a very round about way at the very end states that the entire thing was a joke and there are over 20 posts of antispore.com bashing before someone points out exactly as the author said…. THE ENTIRE THING IS A JOKE! I love the internet. So many people like to talk and not listen. So much like real life!

Here is an odd thought, take two of my favorite things, a beach and the classic Mario Brothers, and combine them. The results of this are too entertaining to believe as you can see! Basically someone took a TON of retro game graphics and put them into real life pictures. Fun stuff and great for some filler content!
