My name is Stuart Conover. I am a horror fanatic, wanna be author, interested in social networking and marketing, blogger, and entrepreneur. I’ve founded a company to pursue my interests in all of the above known as iScream Productions and am the editor of Buy Zombie.

First off before me how about the most burning question on your minds – why and what is a Civin? Civin is a name I made up for playing video games years ago. It has no true meaning that I have been able to find online though apparently is quite a common last name. That’s it. I’ve used it for so long I ended up registering it as a domain and using it for so long that by the time I would have thought to change it – it was too late.

So enough of that, on to me:

A Chicago resident with a flair for the darker side of things. While I work in technical support for the day job I am a ‘slight’ geek when it comes to the Internet and all things horror- Zombies are my bread and butter on what I enjoy writing on and following though everything horror and indie made on movies keeps my interest. This site is just a random entree for thoughts I have coming to mind on anything with media or what is going on in my life and can go months without updates. I used to run a second personal blog over at stuartconover.com, however have since incorporated all of the posts into this one and that domain is currently just being used as an online ‘business card’ as civin.org is already pretty much taken over as where all of ‘me’ can be located easily.
